Projects

My career started during the COVID-19 lockdown. I made face masks when I got my first sewing machine in 2019. From then on, I knew I wanted to create clothes. When I enrolled in Wade College, I immediately realized my strengths in patternmaking and enjoyed the process of the projects I was working on.

​

I am working towards becoming a designer, creating pieces that reflect my inspirations. My next step toward my career goal is to start an internship that will allow me to continue honing my skills and contribute my effort to the industry.

Long Sleeve Collared Shirt and A-line Skirt

This top was made of polyester satin and the skirt was made of plaid flannel. This one was made for Thanksgiving.

Upcycled Rose Dress 

This is an upcycled piece made of Brocade and Cotton. It's a sleeveless corseted dress with a pleated bubble skirt. This was a Construction 1301 project that was inspired by mother's day.
